Hi, my name is Victoria, creator of Victoria Mikal Weddings. I live in Calgary with my husband and 3 year old daughter. I haven't always lived in Calgary. I grew up in a small town just North East of the city called Sundre.
My background isn't in event planning or weddings. I went to the University of Alberta to become a teacher and for the past 10 years I have been working in schools and teaching preschool! It wasn't until I started planning my own wedding that I fell in love with wedding planning! I had so many people come to me saying "Victoria you should really think about planning other peoples weddings". So here I am wanting to plan YOUR wedding day!

I created Victoria Mikal Weddings to help couples achieve their dream wedding without stress and to help stay on budget. My budget wasn't huge for our wedding, but I was still able to achieve my vision. And that is what I want for other couples! Planning a wedding can be a lengthy process full of decision making, organization, coordination and budgeting - I want to help couples navigate through this process so they can truly enjoy every moment of their special day!
